STAFF

ROBERT E. BURR, MD, FACP, FACE

I discovered my interest in endocrinology and metabolism in high school and have been fortunate to be able to find a path to continue that early interest into my professional life. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to open my own office in my new adopted home in Salt Lake.

I grew up in New England and after attending Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, went to medical school in Philadelphia at Hahnemann graduating in 1973. After graduation, I trained in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, in Nutrition and Obesity at the Rockefeller University in New York City, and in Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. I received additional training and experience in Pediatric Endocrinology while at Mass General and in Diabetes in Pregnancy at the Joslin Diabetes Center.

I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Clinical Nutrition and by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. I have practiced and taught in those specialties for a number of years and look forward to continuing that here in Utah.
